The Great NYS Flea was born as a grassroots initiative to elevate local culture and give small business owners an accessible platform to thrive. What began as a seasonal Sunday market has grown into a city-loved series of themed markets, pop-ups, and creative gatherings that inspire connection, discovery, and shared experience.

We believe in community first — keeping events affordable, welcoming, and reflective of Rochester’s diverse voices and talents. Whether it’s your first market or your fifteenth, this is where ideas find life, stories are shared, and commerce feels human.

Vendor registration methods may vary depending on the event, location, and partner organization. When registration is open, this page will always guide you to the correct and most up-to-date process.

In general, when vendor registration is active, you can expect:

An Active Event Listing – Available dates will appear in our schedule below
A Registration Method – This may include an online form, direct contact, or partner-hosted system
Payment Confirmation – Fees, methods, and deadlines will be clearly outlined per event
Follow-Up Details – Setup instructions and event logistics will be shared closer to the date

Vendor Terms & Conditions – Indoor Pop-Up Market

Space Assignment
- Vendor spaces will be assigned first come, first served on the day of the event.
Setup Instructions
- All vendors must monitor their email for official setup instructions and arrival details.
- Final setup information will be sent as we get closer to the event.
Arrival & Setup
- Vendors must arrive and fully set up within the designated setup window (provided via email).
- Late arrivals may forfeit their space.
Supplies & Equipment
- Vendors must bring all tables, chairs, tents, displays, and necessary materials.
- No equipment or supplies will be provided by the event.
Space Use
- Vendors must operate within the boundaries of their assigned space.
- Sharing spaces is not permitted without prior approval.
Clean-Up
- Vendors must leave their area clean and free of debris at the end of the event.
- All unsold goods, boxes, and trash must be taken with you.
Conduct
- No yelling, hawking, or disruptive solicitation.
- Music or amplified sound is not allowed unless approved.
Liability
- Vendors participate at their own risk.
- The event and venue are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged goods.
Refund Policy: Vendor fees are non-refundable
Acceptance of Terms: By registering and attending, vendors agree to all terms listed above.

Question 1: How much is a Stall/Booth?

A Stall/Booth vending fee at the Great NYS Flea Events vary on Location & Season. For the upcoming Market season at The Public Market the fees are $40/space.

Question 2: What size space do you have available?

A Stall/Booth at the Great NYS Flea Events vary on Location & Season. For the upcoming Outdoor Season at The Public Market Stall/Booth spaces are 10'x30'.

Question 3: How can I pay my vending fee?

Payment of your vending fee at the Great NYS Flea Events vary on Location & Season. For the upcoming market series at The Public Market, payment is made after application is accepted. Please click link in above section to register to vend at outdoor markets.

Note: Vending spaces ARE NOT confirmed until payment has been made

Question 4: Are tables and/or vending materials included in space fees?

No, vendors are ALWAYS expected to bring all materials needed. Space will be empty upon check in. And will expected to be empty upon vacancy.

Question 5: What am I allowed to sell?

The Great NYS Flea prides itself on being vendor-friendly. As long as you have the applicable licenses/permits required to sell your products, all LEGAL products, excluding tobacco, cannabis & firearms are welcome to be sold at the Great NYS Flea Events.

Question 6: What if I want to sell food?

Food Sales at the Great NYS Flea Events vary on Location & Season.

For the upcoming Outdoor Market Series registration for any and all food vendors will have to be done by calling the market office or visiting the market office in person.

Parking at the Great NYS Flea Events vary on Location & Season. For the upcoming outdoor series at The Public Market parking is widely avaiable on campus for both vendors and shoppers.

Stall/Booth selection at the Great NYS Flea Events vary on Location & Season. For the upcoming Outdoor Market Series at The Public Market space selection will be done in conjunction with vendor registration and payment. You can choose as many dates and as many spaces as you’d like directly from the platform linked above for registration!
